engagement on Contractual Basis for the following positions under
State Coordinator for NRC Updation in Assam.
1. Name of the Position: District Project Supervisor (DPS)
No. of Position: 27 no.
Place of Posting: Office of the Deputy Commissioner
Salary per month: Rs 25,000.00
Eligibility and Qualification:
• MBA/Masters in Arts/Science/ Commerce with minimum 50% aggregate.
• At least 1 (one) year of work experience with any Government or reputed Private organization
• Working knowledge of computers is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Mission Mode projects.
2. Name of the Position: Circle Project Supervisor
No. of Position: 154
Place of Posting: Office of the Circle Officer
Salary per month: Rs 22,000/-
Eligibility and Qualification:
• Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce /Management with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience with any Government or reputed Private organization.
• Working knowledge of computers is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Mission Mode projects.
3. Name of the Position: Junior Assistant, District Level
No. of Position: 54
Place of Posting: Office of the Deputy Commissioner
Salary per month: Rs 12,000/-
Eligibility and Qualification:
• Graduate with minimum one year Diploma in Computer Application/DTP
from reputed institutions or Diploma in Computer Application.
• Working knowledge of computers is essential.
4. Name of the Position: Junior Assistant, Sub Division
Level No. of Position: 29
Place of Posting: Office of the SDO (Civil) or Deputy Commissioner.
Salary per month: Rs 12,000/-
Eligibility and Qualification:
• Graduate with minimum one year Diploma in Computer Application/DTP
from reputed institutions or Diploma in Computer Application.
• Working knowledge of computers is essential.
5. Name of the Position: Junior Assistant, Circle Level.
No. of Position: 308
Place of Posting: Office of the Circle Officer.
Salary per month: Rs 12,000/-
Eligibility and Qualification:
• Graduate with minimum one year Diploma in Computer Application/DTP
from reputed institutions or Diploma in Computer Application. Or three
years Diploma from Polytechnic and one year experience.
• Working knowledge of computers is essential.
The applicants shall be required to indicate their preference for
place of posting in the prescribed format which can be
downloaded from the Government of Assam’s website (www.online.assam.gov.in).
Those applying for the post of District Project Supervisor (DPS) shall indicate their choice of district. Circle choices will be indicated by those applying for the post of Circle Project Supervisor (CPS), district choices will be indicated for Junior Assistant (district level), circle choices for Junior Assistant (circle level), and Sub Division Choices will be indicated for Junior Assistant (sub division level).
Applications without indication of such preference shall be rejected
forthwith. However, it is to be noted that the final allotment of place
of posting shall be the sole discretion of the Government.
For all positions the applicants shall have to travel extensively
throughout the district of posting and occasionally outside the district
as well.
The applicants shall have to appear for test and interview for which
no TA/DA shall be paid. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all applications without assigning any reasons thereof. Only the
shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/ test.
General Instructions:
1. Engagement for the said positions shall be on contract.
2. Applications shall have to be submitted in the standard form of application used for Govt of Assam positions.
3. Candidates can apply for more than one position. However,
one application form shall be used for only one position. Separate
application forms shall be used for separate positions.
4. The list of districts, sub-divisions and circles along
with the format for indicating choice of place of posting can be
accessed at the website of the government of Assam, www.online.assam.gov.in (go to Home & Political Department-> Notification section).
5. Attested work experience and educational qualification
certificates proving eligibility shall have to be submitted along
with applications.
6. Only candidates aged between 18 years & 40 years as on 01/01/2014 can apply.
7. The application should include all the following contact details:

8. Information about written test or interview shall be made
available on the website. Applicants are advised to keep checking the
Government of Assam website, www.online.assam.gov.in, for details.
9. Candidates ready to serve in Mission Mode and to travel
extensively within or may be outside the place of posting, if required,
only should apply.
