North East Tourism Development Council (NETDC) has been incorporated as a Section 8 Company with its registered office at NEC Secretariat, Shillong, with the objective of promoting tourism in the Northeast of India.
Applications on behalf of NETDC are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of MD & CEO who will be responsible for strategy formulation, implementation and overall functions of the Company and report directly to the Board of Directors of NETDC.

Educational Qualification & Experience: The candidate should have Masters in Tourism Management/MBA/PGDM from a Central/ State Govt. recognized University with a minimum experience of 15 (fifteen) years of working experience in Northeast India in various capacities in the tourism industry, tourism promotion bodies, development sector and industries & trade promotion.
Age: The age of the applicant should not exceed 50 years (relaxable by 5 years for SCIST/OBC candidates) as on January 1, 2018.
Compensation: Will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Tenure: The MD & CEO shall hold office on contractual basis for a period of 5 years.
