Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) almost every year organizes Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for the recruitment various Grade I officer cadre vacancy under Government of Assam. Here, we will provide you last twelve (12) previous years' question paper of APSC and sincerely wish these papers will be highly beneficial for future APSC aspirants.

Assam Public Service Commission has recently released the official notification of Combined Competitive Examination, 2023 ( APSC CCE 2023) for the recruitment of 235 vacancy. As per the official notification, the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination was held on 17th March 2024 tentatively and the Main examination was held from 26th July to 28th July 2024 .

APSC CCE Exam Pattern

The Combined Competitive Examination consists of following two successive stages :-

(i) The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

(ii) The Main Examination (Written & Interview Test)

Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination consists of 2 objective type General Studies question paper with 200 marks each.

Main Examination: The Main Examination shall consist of written examination and interview tests. The written examination shall consist of six papers on the subject of General Studies . Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the main examination (Written Part as well as Interview) would determine their final ranking.

Note: Only starting from 2020, APSC opted for new exam scheme of 2 General Studies question paper. Hence, the optional paper makes no sense (N/A) now.

Recommended Books for APSC CCE Exam

Rather than purchasing substandard guidebooks, we suggest you to stick to the base books so that you can accumulate knowledge and clear doubts.
