Age: The age of the candidate should not be more than 38 years as on 01/01/ 2019 and relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have to secure at least 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade Point Scale) at the Master, Degree level in the concerned subject and must have Cleared the NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR Candidate awarded Ph.D. degree In accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree).
Regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition Of NET/ SLET/SET. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided for SC/ST/ Differently Abled candidates. A relaxation Of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph, D. holders, who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19/09/1991.
Candidates have to acquire qualifications as on the last date of the submission of application. Eligibility like M. Phil/Ph.D./Seminar Papers/Publlcati0ns can be acquired and submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.
* In-service candidates have to apply through proper channel with a NOC from the concerned authority. Without NOC, applications are liable to be rejected. * Candidate must have Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must know the local language.
