Visva-Bharati University invites applications from Indian nationals for filling up the 73 Rolling Faculty positions in various subjects/ disciplines.

This is a Rolling Advertisement for recruitment on the Rolling Faculty posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor through Direct Recruitment basis in various subjects/ disciplines in Visva-Bharati University (West Bengal).(Advertisement No - 6/2019)

1. Professor
No of posts: 28

Age: 45 years
Pay:  Academic Level-14 with Entry Pay of ₹144200/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix

2. Associate Professor
No of posts: 44

Age: 40 years
Pay: Academic Level-13A with Entry Pay of ₹131400/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix

3. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 01

Age: 35 years
Pay:  Academic Level-10 with Entry Pay of ₹57700/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix

Application Fee:

i) For Academic Level 14 & 13A : Rs. 1200/-
ii) For Academic Level 10 : Rs. 1000/-

How to apply: This is a rolling vacancy for faculty recruitment in Visva Bharati University. The application can be submitted round the year. However, all the applications received till 20/10/2019 at 6.00 P.M. will be processed for the first round of selection. Applications received after the stipulated date will be considered for next round of selection.

Duly filled in the original application:

(i) One set of self-attested photocopies of mark sheet, certificates and other testimonials
(ii) Two recent passport size photographs with applicants full signature at the bottom
(iii) Receipt generated after payment through SBI Collect module of required value toward application fees
