Education Department, Govt. of Assam has released a set of weekly assignments for all Degree Level Students Viz., Arts, Science and Commerce Stream.
These assignments have been given for a period of 4 weeks for creative skill development among students during the Lockdown period of COVID-19. The 1st-week assignment has been started w.e.f May 18th, 2020.
Process To Complete Weekly Assignments:
- Students will write on a particular topic given for the week at their home only.
- After lockdown is over, students will submit the same to the head of the respective colleges.
- Teachers will check the same after opening of colleges.
- Selected Assignments will be awarded by State Govt.
The following parameters are to be followed in this regard:
1) Students of TDC (all semester) will participate.
2) After lockdown, every college will select best three entries from each category and will submit to the office of the M.D., RUSA, Assam. M.D., RUSA with the support of subject expert will select 100 best entries from each category and submit to the Department of Higher Education of Assam.
3) 300 selected best entries will be awarded by the State Govt.
