The Government of Assam is planning to reopen educational institutes including schools and colleges from the month of September 2020, if the pandemic of COVID-19 comes under control.
Assam health and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed the same while attending an event at gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) today.
He said, “Gradually we have to plan to open the schools and colleges from September 1. We will convene the meeting of Education Task Force. We have to find out the ways with a new set of rules for the reopening of educational institutes without the possibility of infection to the students.”
