Finance and health minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma today reiterated that there is no ban on employment under State Government . He said that government is actually encouraging all departments to advertise and recruit their vacant posts.
He expressed his displeasure with the media report attributed to him that the state govt will not provide any more Govt employment.
Taking on to twitter he said, "Very unhappy with the media report attributed to me that the state govt will not provide any more Govt employment. I do not know why some media always fabricate my statement. There is no ban on employment. We are encouraging all departments to advertise and recruit their vacant posts".

Earlier, on 1st of May 2020, He said that there was no prohibition against Assam Government recruitment yet although various austerity measures have been taken in the state in all departments.
