FREMAA Recruitment 2024
1. Social Development Officer
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Masters/Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences relevant discipline e.g. social work / Sociology/Anthropology.
Experience: Candidate must have /possess Acquisition,
(i) Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in the field of social development including SIA, Land Resettlement, conducting/facilitating undertaking stakeholder consultation, socio-economic surveys, undertaking social impact assessments and preparation of Resettlement Action Plans, Indigenous Peoples Development Plans in accordance with ADB’s requirements. Experience of working in Externally Aided projects involving construction of infrastructure (roads, water resources, power/energy), would be given preference.
(ii) Knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements of GoI and GoA on land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation and existing government welfare /rehabilitation schemes.
(iii) Experience of working in Externally Aided projects like ADB, World Bank, JICA, etc. funded projects/World Bank, NGOs and other development agencies;
(iv) Proficiency in use of Computers to manage data base and generation of reports, is mandatory.
(v) Knowledge of verbal and written communication in English, Assamese and Hindi is required.
(vi) The applicant must be physically fit for extensive touring with age of less than 62 years.
2. Field Supervisor
No of posts: 6
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences with 55% marks from a recognized University or Institution. Post Graduate Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Developmental Studies and Public Administration will be given preference.
Experience:
# At least 3 years of field experience especially in conducting census surveys, coordinating trainings and public meetings with District Administration and other Govt. offices would be preferred. Knowledge of Land Acquisition procedures of the Govt. is desirable.
# Should be skilled in writing reports in English/Assamese and should be fluent in Assamese language.
