Meghalaya D.El.Ed Course 2020
Directorate of Educational Research And Training, Meghalaya, Shillong has released official notification for admission to the 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for the academic session 2020-22 to be offered at the 7 District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETS) of the State. Only candidates who are citizens of India residing in Meghalaya can apply for this course.

Meghalaya D.El.Ed Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
* Class XII passed or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards/ Councils with 50% marks with 5% relaxation for ST/SC/OBC/PWD.
* Candidates waiting for Class XII Results may also apply provided they produce their provisional/original documents at the time of counseling.
* There will be block wise allocation of seats to facilitate the availability of trained teachers locally in the respective blocks.
Age:
The Minimum Age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years as on 01.01.2020 relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD.

Meghalaya D.El.Ed admission 2020 consists of following stages of selection process
a) Entrance Test
b) Counselling
* The selection procedure will be based on merit as per block quota.
Meghalaya D.El.Ed Admission 2020 Reservation Policy
The reservation policy for Meghalaya D.El.Ed (DIET) Admission 2020 is as follows:
a) As per Meghalaya Government Reservation Policy for different communities of the state.
b) 5% of the seat will be reserved for the persons with disabilities.
Meghalaya D.El.Ed Admission Application Process
Eligible candidates have to apply online for Meghalaya D.El.Ed Admission 2020 from 19th June 2020 till 17:00 hours of the 20th of July, 2020.
Candidates must upload a scanned copy of a recent colour passport size photograph and scanned copy of the signature.
