DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2025
Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 4500 posts of Assistant Teacher in Lower and Upper Primary Schools of Assam under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam. Candidates who are Indian Citizens as well as permanent residents of Assam and qualified in the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) may apply online for these posts.

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2025.
Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:

# SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms .
Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply

ATET/ CTET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET for Lower Primary / Upper Primary will be eligible for applying.

Science Teacher (UP)

# B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University.
# 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
# Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Hindi Teacher (UP)
