Boiler Attendant Examination 2021
Office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers, Assam has released the official notification for Boiler Attendant Examination of Class I and Class II to be held as per the Boiler Attendant’s Rules, 2011. Interested and eligible candidates may apply here.
No person, who does not possess a certificate of Competency as a Boiler Attendant, shall be deemed a fit and proper to hold charge of a boiler or boilers of total heating surfaces exceeding 1000sq. meters situated within a radius of 50 meters .
The State Government constitutes a Board of Examiners to conduct examination for the grant of Certificate of Competency as a Boiler Attendant under the provision of Boiler Attendant Rules, 2011.

Eligibility Criteria of Boiler Attendant Examination
The class wise eligibility criteria is as mentioned below for Boiler Attendant Examination 2021.
Class I Exam
Educational Qualification: At least Matriculation or equivalent exam.
Experience: 2 Years with IInd Class certificate of proficiency as Boiler Attendant.
Age Limit: Not less than 20 years of age.
Class II Exam
Educational Qualification: At least Matriculation or equivalent exam.
Experience: 2 years as Fireman/ Operator/ Pump man/ Waterman/ Assistant Fireman/ Assistant Operator on a Steam Boiler.
Age Limit: Not less than 18 years of age.

Examination Fee:
Class I Exam: Rs 500/- (Five Hundred) is to be deposited into Treasury under the Head of Account “0230- Labour and Employment, 103-Fees for inspection of Steam Boiler “or pay online through eGras portal www.assamegras.gov.in .
Class II Exam: Rs 300/- (Three hundred) is to be deposited into Treasury under the Head of Account “0230- Labour and Employment, 103-Fees for inspection of Steam Boiler ”or pay online through eGras portal www.assamegras.gov.in .
