Respective State Level Recruitment Commissions of Govt. of Assam have released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 12600 Grade III & Grade IV Vacancy under different departments / establishments in Government of Assam. These vacancies will be filled up by the recruitment rules framed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. A single written exam along with skill test or interview will be held for each category of posts and a merit list will be prepared accordingly for appointment.

Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification on the date of application are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.

Grade III (Category I)

Grade III (Category II)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with valid LMV Driving Licence.

Age Limit: The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023.

How to Apply for Assam Direct Recruitment?


Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for these vacancy of Govt. of Assam under the 1 Lakh Employment Scheme initiated by Chief Minister of Assam. They may follow below mentioned steps to apply online.
 
# Scroll down, go to Important Web-Links section .

# Click on the "Online Registration Link (Common)" and complete the registration process .
 
# To complete the registration process you need to enter your Full Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Email id, and DOB, Registration Number of Employment Exchange of Assam, Mobile no and click on to get OTP in the ‘OTP’ options to verify your OTP and click the “Submit” button.

# In the next stage, click on "Online Application Form" Link and Login.

# Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.

# After entering all details, pl review the application form and if everything is correct, you can submit the form.

# At the end, take a print out of the application form .
 
As First step, a candidate has to do common registration in the portal before proceeding with filling of the online application of Class III posts Or Class IV posts. Candidate may register from either of the Class III or Class IV Website. For example - If a candidate regísters for Class III Post then he/she need not register again for Class IV Post. Candidate may fill the application form with the same registration ID either for Class III posts or for Class IV posts or for both as per eligibility.

Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment


Assam Direct Recruitment Commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for selection of candidates for different category of posts. Accordingly, commission will select candidates for recommendation on merit, in order of higher Grade Pay taking into consideration reservations for SC, ST, OBC and other categories.

The examinations shall be held separately on different dates so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination.

ADRE Syllabus for Class III Posts


State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has released the official Assam Direct Recruitment syllabus for Class III or Grade III posts. Aspiring candidates may check following section for more details about syllabus.

Language of question paper: Question  papers will  be  in  the  following  languages  – Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo and Hindi.

Negative marking:
There will be negative marking  for wrong answers. The negative marking to be awarded for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25 and similarly negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 2 marks will be 0.50.

Selection Process: The  candidates who  qualify  in  the written  examination will  be  called  for interview (as intimated by HCM).
 

Class III/ Grade III (HSLC) Syllabus Details

The syllabus of the written examinations for recruitment to the Class-IV Posts shall be in consonance with the Elementary School Pass Level examination of SCERT for Read upto Class VIII category and High School Level Certificate Examination of Board of Secondary Education, Assam for HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed category including HSLC (Class Ten) passed or equivalent examination passed along-with ITI pass certificate in the trade of Wireman/Electrician/Fitter/ Welder/Machinist/Electronics mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved institute.

ADRE Merit List


The preparation of merit list for appointment against various category of posts will be executed through following stages.

# On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit.

# Additionally, minimum qualifying marks, of the marks obtained in the written examination, for General Candidates and Candidates belonging to the different reserved categories, shall be determined by the Commission to short list candidates, from the above list, to be called for Computer test/ other test/ practical test in a ratio to be decided by the Commission.

# The Commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for Computer test/ other test/ practical test.

# Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the Computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection. 
 
# The final merit list for Class III and IV posts shall be based on the total marks obtained in the written examination and Computer Test or Other Test or Interview.
